Uefa Cups by Ricardo

Before all quarters are known of CL and EL, here are the updates of domestic league results. SLowly we are getting clear who will or better who won't be at the top in the domestic leagues. Some leagues (e.g. Belgium) are almost ready to start fase2: the play-offs. More and more countries have these add-ons, which are not that good to find in my sheet. In Andorra they are almost over already.
For now enough, back to the CL (Bayern-Intern) where the last Italian club is eliminated this year, hmm not interested in EL, but apparently not good enough to get far in CL. A pity, hopefully they will climb back, but for tonight I prefer Bayern(Robben) over Inter(Sneijder)

Finally a new update. Sorry for being so late. I got personal troubles with computers lately. Well you can find the latest info now available again.
For countryranking all decisions have taken place except 1: who will be 6th. Portugal has, in my opinion, still the best chance, but might CSKA eliminate Porto, then all still remains to be seen. Personally I hope of course that the Dutch teams will eliminate the Russians, despite it will be helping the Portuguese becoming 6th..
It also becomes clear to me that this year the top-3 is a clear top-3 and not with a possible 4th or even 5th team belonging to it. There is a big gap between Germany and Italy. Though Germany still has to do better in CL. Maybe if Schalke and Bayern both will make it to the quarters. Though it would sound strange, with the struggling both teams have in German league.

Also it's clear that CL is for top 3/5, as 15 out of 16 are from top 5. And EL is for the co ... Read more »

Aye, forgot I hadn't had chance to update it all after the last EL MD. Sorry.
Since then some countries have started their winterbreak, so not too much happened. But still.
It's all in now.
According to my sheets it's still Portugal who will be 6th, but they are going down. But as Russia also goes down and Ukraine is climbing , it can still become a great fight.
No direct encounters showing up in the draw, maybe Porto-CSKA in the next round, so no double point matches, but all matches will count.

All latest results of the last CL matchda are include in new rankings. Including the seeded/not seeded of the EL dropouts. This last thing causes some shifts and makes Portugal drop down again a bit. Will there still be a big fight? I expect one. 4 Portuguese teams in EL, 4 Russian teams in EL and for Ukraine 1 in CL and 2 in EL. And depsite that Holland has also 3 teams in EL they won't get into this battle for this OR next year. With Greece coming up, they better look down now.

All latest domestic results are included in CL/EL participants for next season. And EL MD 5 showed a lot of snowy matches. It's not going well for Italy, they lose teams in EL, and only get 2nd spots in CL so top-3 is secure. 6th spot will stay a quationmark till after winterbreak, though my predictionsheet shows a steep climbing line for Portugal the last 2 weeks making them seemable certain of 6th spot. But Porto is then calculated as losing EL-finalist, and Benfica as semi-finalist and Sporting as Quarterfinalist. That's high expectations! OK Russia has also 2 Quarterfinalists in CSKA and Zenit, while Ukraine seems not that far yet.
Only reality will show who will get this 6th spot.
For 9th spot Holland is ahead, but Greece is doing well with Aris, AEK qualified and can PAOK be added? For Holland PSV and Twente continue with Ajax as doubtfull 3rd.
12th spot is for Denmark, they can't fail, but behind them Belgium is favorit, but if th ... Read more »

All latest information posted. Russian league is now also almost ended, at least eruropean spots are taken, except for the cupwinner spot.
And MD5 of CL gave us now already 12 out of 16 qualifiers for the knock-out phase. Also 5 teams already know that next round will be their latest. This season.
We saw Spartak losing the match with OM resulting in dropping back to the EL. Will that cost Russia the  6th spot? Of course Portugal still have all their chances to make it on their own.
Next week we will see El MD5 and there much more teams will drop out.

Interesting battles are there for 6th spot. I think that Portugal has qualified all their teams already for spring, but Russia also has most teams qualified for spring. This will be continued in spring. Ukraine is doing also good, but needs to perform fantastic AND a complete downfall of both the other 2 countries to make   chance.

And all the summer-league champions are known! BATE, Pyunik and Zenit were the last 3 that becme champion last weekend.
Winter leagues are getting up to speed to. The good and the bad teams are getting in the higher and lower part of the tables. surprise starters are slowing down again. And some top-clubs in trouble really need to start moving up, or they will be out of Europe next year....

Finally!
All summers league are almost ended and there I m with the new sheets. Sorry for being so late, it was not my month the last months :).
Well, I think I got all the sheets back online again and think that lla the coefficients are right. But I know I always make mistakes. testing all the links I already run into Ekranas having some kind of miscalc on the sheet and I also still have Atletico as titel holders. (of course still possible, but I did not intend to take it up in the sheet like that.

Also new sheets after last week Groupstage matches for the predicitons at the end of this season. Though things are getting clearer, they should after 4MD, not really big shifts are taking place. All big clubs that are on the edge of being eliminted still have opportunities to get back to their original place.
We'll see if that happens.
Next MD's will take only CL or EL in a week, but will certainly be interesti ... Read more »

This weeks  CL& EL matches have chagned a bit the ranking expectations, but not too much.
Portugal is confirming their great expectations sofar and their claim for the 6th spot seems undeniable.
Netherlands is convincing for the 9th spot, despite it's now clear that AZ will not qualify for the first KO round (Of course all is still possible, but losing at home is not helping, and according to my sheet they are now nr. 3 in the group -> they will be out). But it's more that Turkey and Greece are not really challenging The Netherlands why the fight seems to be over.
THe AZ-Din.Kiev battle tonight was a double-pointer match, as nr8 ans nr9 clashed. Ukraine stays ahead clearly,

Switzerland had a great week and is now ticking again on the door of the top-15. Scotland and Romania better watch out!

country and teamranking is updated with all results of MD2. Still not very much changes. There is still not much changing in the qualifiers for the KO rounds. Maybe next round?
