Finaly all new sheets for the new season are here. We already have the first champions in Sweden and Iceland. Check out how it will develop.
Also all GS-MD2 results are in. Portugal drops to 5th again, Holland takes the lead in 7th spot, Belgium is looking closer to 11th spot than to 13th spot. Over 15th spot is no discussion.
Some great shocks last night, with Sevilla and Roma out.
Also Scotland wiped out, that's a first time for them. Aye
The predicted countryranking see a fight for 4th spot between Italy and Portugal, and an extreme close fight for 7th spot between Russia, Ukraine and Holland. Holland seems to be getting a massive 14.400 points due to AZ and Twente moving up to EL group 1, and PSV upto losing finalist in EL. It seems fantastic, but I fear it won't be reached.
12th spot is firm in the hands of Belgium now, with 4 teams still in play they do great
After a long vacation I am back to update country- and teamranking to include Q2 and Q3 results.
We already had the first leg of Q4, but those results will be included after next week. When the eliminations will cause some dramatic affect. Maybe. There could be some surprises. Like Sevilla, Athletic, Schalke, Roma or Panathinaikos. After losing Olympiakos Volou, this would certainly blow a hole in Greece aspirations for the 9th spot. Though also PSV and AZ did not get inspired and could be eliminated next week.
A fight that could get interesting is 12th spot. Denmark has OB and FCK in a Groupstage, though that very well might become EL for both. Nordsjaelland seem not to have a real chance vs. Sporting, though the 0-0 is not a decision. But Belgium did well, ok CLub could not manage to hold on to the win in Georgia, but they can finish it, hopefully, at home. Anderlecht already won the away game, while Standard won vs. Helsingborg(but wasn't Helsingborg doin

Hi All I will be enjoying my vacation the coming month. Sorry there will be no updates in the predictions 2012 before Q4. I will calculate the intermediate standings after the Q-rounds, so they will be shown in the graphic afterwards. I'm hoping for some sunny days soon....
Tonight the new season starts with the first 2 CL-Q1 matches. Followed Thursday by 25 EL-Q1 matches. My vacation haven't started yet, so a new season starting is a bit weird to me, Luckily(?) I'm no professional football player, so I still will enjoy my vaction in a couple of weeks...
For the reason of the new season coming up I have updated all sheets with the last information. The pre-season prediction is ready for the country- and team ranking of 2012. Let's see how well everybody will do this year.
It seems sure now that Timisoara will not get a license and so will not play in the European competitions next year. Romania places shift. It means now Olympiakos Volos is now seeded in EL-Q3, because the new Romanian team Gaz Metian Medias will not be seeded there.
And all leagues have finished, all Cups have their winners. It seems we have all teams in a row, ready for qualification. Of course we still have to wait for teams that are rejected their license (Timisoara?), teams getting disqualified and other stuff. But all matches on the field are played.
And only a couple of domestic rounds left, a few more cuptitles and the English FairPlay spot, and all candidates will be known for the next season. That will start within a month.
Only 2 titles still to be claimed: the one of Montenegro and the one of San Marino. 9 more countries still have a domestic league to finish. And 7 Cup titles to be won.
All will be ended in a couple of days. Sunday the last matches will be played.
It looks like we will have an interesting Play Off round, though that is still far away. As well CL as EL looks intersting. I already mentioned before that non seeded teams like Dyn. Kiev, Udinese, Panathinaikos, Twente, Rubin Kazan will give their best to make an upset.
But in EL we have unseeded teams like Hannover, Mainz, Socheaux, Dnjepr, Trabzonspor, etc., while the seeded side has Rennes, Stoke City, Birmingham City, etc.
I have updated the leagues with all latest results. A lot of leagues have ended now, only a few champions are still to be crowned Switzerland, Austria, Serbia, Montenegro and San Marino. IN more countries still teh Eruopean League spots still have to be filled in.
This Wednesday already a lot more will be known with a few league rounds and a lot of cupfinals going on.
In the mean time we have seen that the CL Play Off will be with great teams: Bayern, Arsenal, Lyon (maybe), Benfica,Villarreal, Udinese, Dynamo Kiev and (maybe) Panathinaikos . AS Roma did not make, and Fenerbahce managed to become champion. It could have been worse. Twente and Standard will having trouble qualifying, of course if they even make it to that round, with Rubin, Zurich and Trabzonspor as possible opponents.
