Yes Chelsea and Bayern took the double! Will Inter do it too?
Furthermore we have a few more champions! Congratulations to all. to Sparta, Lech, Hapoel TA!! And Lyon took a CL-GS spot, because Lille ruined it. Another surprise in France is that we won't see Bordeaux in Europe next year. Just 2 months ago they were the leader of the French League....
Sevilla took the last qualificationspot in Spain. They scored the winning goal in the 90th+ winner. Now that is worth a couple of millions. I 'm sorry for Mallorca. And it would be an underdog 4th team like Tottenham and Palermo/Sampdoria is.
I have edited the Europa League page, as now Atletico Madrid is ' normaly' qualified and Villarreal is out. It means the Danish champion moves up from Q3 to Q4.
The title holder Atlético Madrid already qualified for the 3rd or 4th qualifying round of the Europa League. This implies that the cup winners of the 28th country on the ranking list (Inter Turku, Finland) has direct access to the 3rd qualifying round, and the cup winners of Malta and San Marino have direct access to the 2nd qualifying round of the Europa League. IF ATLETICO MADRID WINS the Spanish Cup then the CUP WINNER of the 16th country on the ranking list (FC Nordsjælland, Denmark) will gain direct access to the 4th qualifying round.
Agent Lik, I see that indeed I only calculated 1 scenario. But that was the scenario where Atletico lost the Cupfinal. In the case Atletico wins the cupfinal, its spot in Q4 is empty. I think it will be filled by the cupwinners of country 16 & 17 (Denmark and Bulgaria), going from Q3 to Q4. this makes the following difference in Q3: -2 teams (they went directly to Q4), so -1 qualifying team for Q4 In Q4 the difference is: -1 Qualifying from Q3, -1 Atletico, +2 teams moved from Q3 -> no difference in Q4
Well there are other scenarios of course possible...
@Alex, you're right. It will be corrected with the next update ( I hope you on't mind me not u pdating it right away
As AGF(Aarhus) totally messed up with at 0-3 defeat at home and relegated to the second flight, Randers and Brøndby had a totally perfect match. Brøndby won 3-1, which was enough for the bronze medal and european play, meaning that Randers for sure grabs the fair play spot and is going to play in Europe too. Fantastic for Randers. 4 points in the first 16 matches and looke like a sure relegator, but now they saved themselves with 16 matches in a row without defeat AND are going to play in Europe next season
