And this weekends rsults are in. More champions are known, more CL participants are known.
In Spain Valencia fell out of the CL spot, Atletico took its place, but they are not seeded in NC-Q4, resulting in only Juventus as a 'big name' in pot 3. With Arsenal, Lyon, Shahktar and Sporting having still to go through this NC-Q4, they still have a chance to end up in pot 2, leaving a more balanced pot 3 and so probably more balanced groups, though form of teams still have to be awaited.
In England ManCities millions resulted in: No European matches!
In France Marseille lost an important match agasint Lyon. Where this makes Bordeaux possible champion, it also means that Marseille and Lyon will play CL (OL plays NC-Q4), as PSG, Toulouse, Lille and Rennes all didn't want to put pressure on OL.
In Germany Bayern made a mistake, leaving the title to Wolfsburg, probably. Bayern fights with Stuttgart for a CL ticket, while Hertha will pick up the 3rd ticket.
In Romania, Denamrk and Poland title fights will keep continuing till the last matchday probably.
Actualy we don't have that much matchdays anymore 1, 2, 3 at most for some countries...

This week there will be no midweek updates, I will be away. Next weekend I'll be back...

You should have Panathinaikos instead of PAOK in th CL.

Amir,
the playoffs in Greece are still taking place. and indeed Panathinaikos is now leading there. I do not include the play-offs here, it doesn't really fit the sheets.
But this is actualy interesting and involving and influencing the seeding. I though I could ignor this till it is finshed, like I do with the Dutch Play-offs (and Cyprus and San Marino play offs).
But I guess I can change this manualy.
I'll try to do it tonight.

With Panathinaikos, Panathinaikos would be in CL-GS (pot 3) i.s.o. Stuttgart, meaning tougher mathces in NC-Q4!

In Poland Wisła Kraków, Legia Warszawa and Lech Poznań Qualify to European cups...
And probably Wisła will be the Champion this season... only 2 matchdays left...
I hope Lech Pozań will win Polish cup...

I have updated Greece and also took tonights game in it. Especially in Israel the fight seems over now Maccabi Haifa won from their major opponent Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Panathinaikos makes it now to CL-GS!

San Marino Play Offs are fantastic. All teams have to lose twice before being finaly out of the offs. practically impossible to follow how it works, but I have drawn it out 8)

Hi Ricardo,

it seems that you are considering AA Gent ending in 3rd place of Belgian ProLeague, because of their great goal average compared to Brugge, however here in Belgium the only tie-breaker is the number of victory, which gives us a great double confrontation between Anderlecht and Standard, but gives also Club Brugge the 3rd place and the spot in the Q3 of EL, with 18 wins compared to 17 for Gent.

Didn't know if you knew that fact, just searching after Gent in Q2 (seeded or not?)
Anyway, great job ;)

Hi Ricardo, in Denmark it seems very likely that Aalborg BK should qualify for Europa League as a LC, since FC Copenhagen (Aalborgs opponent in the cup final) probably won't miss the championship this year. So Aalborg instead of FC Midtjylland in the Europa League for Denmark.

Greetings from Denmark.
Esben
