18 April Domestic league updates
12:51
All latest domestic league updates are included. With the draw of Real, Arsenal and the loss of Leverkusen, Napoli, the top-4 champions seem to get clear. On the other hand we got Lille drawing, making it France interesting. Porto is champion, Shakthar can't escape it. Romania and Holland make it very interesting. Romania still has 7 round to go, but in Holland 3 teams are within 1 point, and with 3 matches to go! And with on the final day Ajax-Twente. If it doesn't decide the championship, it will decide who will get the CLQ3-qualificationspot. And then to remember that they meet a week earlier already in the cupfinal.
In Turkey we have Trabzonspor trying to keep Fenerbahece from the title, in Greece the Play-Offs wil begin, in Switzerland Basel is choking and letting Zurich get closer and in Belgiium the play-offs have started and because of some interesting results all is open again, Standard, who only qualified on the last Md for the play-offs is now within 2 points of the title, with still 7 MD's to go. In Denmark there are still 8 MD's to go, but FCKopenhavn will be champion next week probably.
That was top-15, lots of intersting stuff are also to be found outside top-15. Like Partizan and Red Star are equal on points, in Austria top-4 is within 3 points, and in San Marino they will start their play-offs soon.....

Thanks for the updates, but why suddenly Liverpool as the FP spot? They are quite a bit down in those standings.

Right now it will be Fulham.

@Kerzha,
I just took the next in league. And that's Liverpool after LeaguCupwinner (Birmingham) and Cupfinalist(StokeCity with ManCity in CL) took over already 2 EL spots.
It is kind of weird if Liverpool would not play EL at all. I'm sure it will cost England some coefficient points, how good these 2 will do.

I will try to put up Fulham, but if they move in th eleague I'll have to remember, that's harder for me smile

OK.

Maybe it'll be good for Liverpool with a season without european games. That might strengthen their shot for top4 next year. I don't think it will do much difference attractingwise if they play EL or not. This season they clearly didn't care much about EL, so it could be fun with an other English team, but they could ofc have difficulties because of their low coefficients.

I wouldn't count out that Liverpool gets the EL spot after all. City could very well beat Stoke in the FA Cup and then somehow manage to crumble in the league and finish fifth.

hi.

just one small mistake:

the croatian representatives in the 1st and 2nd QR of EL are Inter zapresic and Split in your table. But that can't happen.

Here's the probable croatian clubs in euro competitions, according to the 1. HNL table and the Croatian Cup finals (Dinamo - Varazdin):

Dinamo zagreb - CL QR2
Hajduk Split - EL QR3
Inter Zapresic - EL QR2
Varazdin - EL QR1 (if Dinamo wins the cup then Varazdin starts in ELQR1. if Varazdin wins, they start in ELQR3, Hajduk in ELQR2, and Inter in ELQR1)

cheers.
