What a thriling end it was in Manchester. Unbelievable come back from City. United knows that it's possible, Bayern also. Furthermore it was Newcastle who missed teh CL in the end, the known teams Arsenal and Tottenham managed to win and wualify. Also Malaga held on to theri CL spot, though Atletico was rushing in, but the season was too short for them. I guess they can be happy with the EL-trophy!. In Italy Udinese won and so didn't make it really interesting. Lazio made Inter not even thinking about CL. Spartak took the second spot in Moskou.
In Greece AEK's loss and Panathinaikos win, makes the score almost square for all 4 teams now with just 2 matches to go.... Still 10 CL-spots to be forgiven

Ricardo,

FC Twente lost in the dutch EL-playoffs. Therefore they will take over the FP-place of Excelsior

Ricardo,

What is the situation in Georgia. Are Metalurgi Rustavi still top because they are ahead in the 'championship round' ?

I thought I had updated it, apparently not on the most important page smile Sorry

There are 2 more rounds to play in Georgia(16&20 may). Metalurgi Rustavi and Zestafoni both have 49 points. According to wiki the tie-breaker is Head-2-head and that's an advantage for Zestafoni, so I think actualy Zestafoni is ahead. Final standings in a week

MEtalurgi are ahead because they have more wins since the championship round began in march.

Shouldn't there be some movements since Atl. Madrid won the Europa League? Moldova and Lithuania UC1 to Q2, so there should only be 76 teams in Q1. Austria UC1 to Q3 and Switzerland UC1 to Q4.

That's how Bert sets it up http://kassiesa.home.xs4all.nl/bert/uefa/access2012.html

If Chelsea win CL I think even more teams will pushed around.

Ahh, sorry. Bert assumes that Bilbao wins the Spanish Cup it looks like. Only then will those movements take place.

@Keld
some movements will take place for sure, but there are 2 variables in this:
1. Will Bilbao win the cup or not
2. Will Bayern or Chelsea win the CL

Maybe there is a 3rd variable: UEFA, as the allocations shift almost every year, I am not sure how the different scenarios will lead to what shifting. Because of the dropouts from CL to EL and the current direct EL-GS spots for the top-5.
